Sheri Harms – Founder and Principal

Sheri Harms opened Seamless Transitions, and has been creating elegant designs which appeal to an array of customers. These unique creations will represent you and your special day!

Sheri started to sew when she was 7 years old through 4-H. As her experience grew, so did her desire to create unique garments. Through the 10 years in 4-H sewing, Harms won numerous awards and recognition for her creations. This early excitement directed Sheri to college where in 1990 she graduated with a degree in apparel design and manufacturing and was nationally recognized as ‘Apparel Student of the Year’ by the American Apparel Manufacturers Association.

Sheri held executive positions in design, engineering, sourcing and supply chain with companies all over the world. After many years of part-time designing and dressmaking for family and friends, Sheri opened Seamless Transitions. Seamless Transitions incorporates the principles of haute couture: focusing on fashion, quality and fit. Hand beaded tops, hand worked jackets in novelty fabrics, feminine, beautiful skirts and dresses: all with embellishments finely crafted to compliment the fabrics and designs. The designs take inspiration from an array of sources; inspiration of the re-purposed dress, classic silhouettes of the past, to today’s clothes which are unique and have delicate details all with an eco friendly edge.

Sheri continues to search all sources to find vintage and/or unused dresses, as well as fabrics which are unique and exquisite for today’s market. There is no substitute for high quality and original fabrics and trims.

Exclusive, original designs and exceptional quality are what Sheri Harms and Seamless Transitions’ designs will create for your wedding day.
